| Black Sand Raiders |
The PCs fight the elves of Silver Springs, killing their leaders, and sending whatver is left of the tribe on the run. During the fight, Phatim unleashes his psionic fury in one explosive outburst. Unfortunately, due to the strange psionic maladu affecting the Tablelands, he dies in the process.
The PCs find a new ally in Morg, a mul gladiator, formerly a prisoner of the elven tribe. The party recovers their strengths at the oasis, then they leave to continue their travels east.
After a couple of days they reach the Land of Black Sands. Waiting for them is a warband of Black Sand Raiders, most probably tipped by the elves that surviived the massacre a few days before.
The party parleys with the raiders for a while, but it is soon clear that the raiders want to rob them and capture them. Even though they are outnumbered 6 to 1, the PCs decide to fight. The raiders are bolstered by two defilers, and eventually subdue and capture the PCs.
